What is MarketingEdge?

  • A program using best practices and proprietary tools. Each month’s action is designed to deliver the logical building blocks to construct your own marketing program: Market Research, Differentiation, Messaging, Lead Generation, Relationship Building, Website Utilization and Marketing Tactics.
  • A set of learning experiences developed by a former Microsoft marketing executive with over 10 years of experience in designing and implementing marketing programs for Microsoft and its partners.
  • A virtual program with custom one on one coaching and feedback. You receive feedback on your company’s differentiation, targeting and messaging from our team of marketing experts.
  • A proven program that produces a MarketingEdge for participants.

Is this program right for my company?
The program is ideal for small to mid-market companies with limited marketing resources, as well as established companies with new marketing hires or a new market focus. Participant company profile:

  • Relationships, trust, and credibility matter in your business.
  • It is possible to differentiate or focus your product or service and you can identify specific vertical markets or customer types that fit.

  • You are a B to B company with revenue between 1 and $100 MM
  • You can invest in marketing. A minimum annual marketing spend of $15-$20K (far less than one salesperson) if you're a small business or 2% of revenue if you're larger.
  • Ability to invest 10 hours per month in the program (on demand training and actions).

What kind of results can I expect?
Companies that have taken the program have seen significant increases in their sales pipeline and the size of deals. You can expect to increase your annual revenue by at least $1,000,000. Larger companies will naturally see a larger increase. The best practices that we teach will become part of your company’s business model. While what you get out of the program is up to you, you can expect huge results between 6 and 18 months out.

What makes the Marketing Edge Program Unique?
The Marketing Edge Program is delivered over a 6-month timeframe so you can learn, absorb content, and apply what you’ve learned to your business. We utilize a combination of short, targeted, online educational programs delivered by renowned marketing experts, group webinars, real-world exercises utilizing your company’s own information and one-on-one marketing coaching sessions. Each month’s actions are designed to build upon previously learned skills and best practices resulting in a tailored fully executable marketing plan.

What is the investment?
The program investment is $4,995 for six months. This investment is per company and you may have as many people from your company participate as you would like.

Are there other costs to the program?
No. The full program costs $4,995 which includes all the materials, help desk, and one-to-one consulting.

Can I pay in installments?
The program is set up so that you can pay up front, or half up front and half at the three-month point for an additional $100.
If you want to pay monthly, the investment is $499 per month for 12 months.

Can other people in my company join the program?
The program fee is per company. You can have others in your company receive the e-mails and attend the training calls. Many companies have interns, assistants, or marketing people as the primary contact but have them work with the rest of the team to complete the actions.

Who runs the Help Desk? Who is giving me advice?
The Help Desk is not a call center. You will receive one-to-one attention. Help Desk is run by Barbara Pfeiffer, a former Microsoft Marketing Manager and co-lead for this program, along with Eric Rabinowitz of the Nurture Institute and Tuck Mixon of Trinity Marketing Systems. We review all questions. Most are answered directly by us, but we will occasionally bring in subject matter experts when needed.

How can I use Help Desk?
The most common uses for the Help Desk are help in finding or assessing marketing resources, review of materials (brochures, invites, etc.), and as a “referral” tool if you are looking for marketing vendors. Help Desk is e-mail based and has a 24-hour response time.
